CO<sub>2<\/sub>\u00a0has a greater\u00a0specific internal energy\u00a0under the same thermal state, so it can theoretically release more expansion work. Based on the\u00a0principles of conservation of mass\u00a0and energy, a thermal model of launch with CO<sub>2<\/sub>\u00a0as the launch medium is established using the thermos-physical properties of real gas, and the impact of CO<sub>2<\/sub>\u00a0and air as launch medium on the launch performance is compared and analyzed using this model. The dynamic variation process of the\u00a0medium state\u00a0in the high and low pressure chamber and the motion parameters of the aircraft during the launch process are obtained. The results show that: the use of CO<sub>2<\/sub>\u00a0to launch an aircraft can achieve a higher launch speed and shorten the launch time, and the launch performance is better than that of air. In order to further study the launch performance of CO<sub>2<\/sub>\u00a0and its matching relationship with launch requirements, the effects of three thermal parameters (launch pressure, heating power, heating amount) and three structural parameters (volume of high pressure chamber, initial volume of low pressure chamber, valve area) on the launch process are obtained.
