A unified correlation formation, which could standardize the most of the existing heat transfer correlations, is used to perform comparison studies, and a series of validated correlations focusing on predicting cryogenic boiling events are reached. It demonstrates that Merte &amp; Clark correlation and Bromley correlation are recommended to predict cryogenic film boiling heat flux at spherical and horizontal tube heaters respectively, and the deviations are within \u00b115% and \u00b18%. A preliminary data analysis indicates that Laplace reference length could be regarded as a critical diameter to distinguish tube and wire conditions. Moreover, a unified correlation without considering surface orientation effect is proposed to account for the plate heater boiling issue in the view of engineering application, and the deviations are within \u00b140%.
